The countdown has begun for Free Comic Book Day, which is set to take place on May 6th, 2023. The day is celebrated annually on the first Saturday of May and is a celebration of the comic book industry. It is a day where comic book stores across the world give away free comic books to fans, both old and new.
West Orange Comics & Video Games is excited to announce its participation in Free Comic Book Day 2023. The store will be opening its doors early at 10 am, and fans can expect a day filled with free comics, sales, and a celebrity appearance.
One of the highlights of the day will be the appearance of Jack O’Halloran, who is an actor, author, and producer. He is best known for his role as Non in Superman movies 1 and 2. Fans will have the opportunity to meet him and take photos with him. This is a rare opportunity to meet one of the stars of the iconic Superman movies.
In addition to Jack O’Halloran, fans can also meet Brent Larson, a writer for Silverline Comics, and Special FX master Scott Fensterer of Sy-Fy Channel’s Face Off and the Monster Manor series which appears on the Tingler Channel every Monday at 7:00pm.
Fans can expect a wide variety of free comics from publishers such as Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and more. These comics are specially published for Free Comic Book Day and are a great way for fans to discover new titles and characters.
Free Comic Book Day is an excellent opportunity to introduce new readers to the world of comic books. It is also a chance for long-time fans to come together and celebrate their love of comics.
