Storm, also known as Ororo Munroe, has been a prominent figure in the X-Men universe for decades. With her ability to control the weather, she has proven time and time again to be a formidable opponent, both in battle and as a leader of the X-Men. Now, Marvel Comics is bringing back Storm in an electrifying new series that promises to take her to new heights.

In Storm #1, readers will be introduced to an all-new villain that threatens to tear Storm apart from her team and challenge everything she thought she knew about herself. Illustrated by Sid Kotian, along with veteran artist Alan Davis, this new series promises to be a visually stunning adventure that showcases Storm’s days of rocking her iconic mohawk and leading the X-Men.

Written by the legendary Ann Nocenti, who is known for her work on Marvel Comics’ Uncanny X-Men series, this new series is sure to be a hit among comic book fans. Nocenti is credited with helping to save the Uncanny X-Men series in the 1980s, and her writing has been praised for its depth and complexity.

For those who may not be familiar with Storm, she has a rich and complex backstory that has evolved over the years. She was born in Africa to a tribal princess and an American photojournalist, but her parents were killed when she was just a child. She was raised as a thief and eventually became a member of the X-Men, where she honed her skills as a fighter and a leader.

Throughout her time with the X-Men, Storm has faced numerous challenges, both personal and professional. She has battled other mutants, alien invaders, and even gods. But in this new series, she will face a challenge unlike any other.

As an elemental power emerges near the Xavier Mansion, Storm will be pushed to the limit of her powers and beyond. This new villain threatens not just Storm, but the entire X-Men team. It will take all of Storm’s skills and strength to overcome this threat and protect those she cares about.

Overall, Storm #1 promises to be an exciting new addition to the X-Men universe. With its stunning artwork, compelling storyline, and talented creative team, this series is sure to be a hit among comic book fans. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Storm or a newcomer to the X-Men universe, this series is definitely worth checking out. So grab a copy and get ready to experience the full force of Storm’s powers!

Storm #1 is probably one of the best comics I have read in a long time, and I have never really been a fan of the character, when it comes to X-Men I have always been a Banshee, Colossus, Sunfire and Wolverine fan.

Storm #1 is available on our weekly new comic wall and it can also be placed on your pull list.
