Marvel Comics has just released an exciting new series that promises to deliver big, fist-pounding action like never before. Titled “Clobberin’ Time” the series follows Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing, as he teams up with heroes from across the Marvel Universe in a bid to save the day.
In Clobberin’ Time #1 we find the Ever-Lovin’ Blue-Eyed Thing in a tag team match partnered with the Hulk for what is sure to make for a wild ride as they end up on an unknown alien planet and attempt to save it from destruction along side it’s own version of the Sorcerer Supreme.
The stakes have never been higher in this opening issue, as Ben and the Incredible Hulk find themselves stranded on a distant, ancient, alien world. Together, they must protect an ancient people against legions of Deviant hordes and ultimately face the wrath of a Celestial.
With four fists between them, Ben and the Hulk are more than capable of taking on any challenge that comes their way. But as the battle intensifies and the odds stack against them, it remains to be seen whether their combined strength will be enough to save the day.
One of the standout features of the series is the impressive artwork and story line by Steve Skroce. Skroce’s attention to detail and ability to capture the action in a dynamic and exciting way is sure to keep readers hooked from the very first page.
The characterization of both Ben and the Hulk is also spot-on, with both heroes given plenty of opportunity to shine. The banter between the two is particularly enjoyable, with their contrasting personalities and approaches to problem-solving providing plenty of laughs along the way.
All in all, “Clobberin’ Time” is a must-read for any Marvel Comics fan. With its epic action, engaging story, and impressive artwork, it’s sure to be a hit with readers of all ages. So why not grab a copy today and join Ben and the Hulk on their thrilling adventure through the cosmos?
I think that after reading Clobberin’ Time #1 that this is going to be a great series. I feel it is akin to the 1974 Marvel Comics run of “Marvel Two In One” in which in each issue starred Ben Grimm side by side with another iconic Marvel hero going up against a big baddy Marvel villain or a team of bad guys.
Clobberin’ Time #1 is available on our weekly new comic book wall and can also be added to your pull list.
