Anime fans can spend Friday evening painting their favorite characters at West Orange Comics & Video Games in Ocoee during Anime Paint & Sip on August 28 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
This isn’t an art class. It’s a chance to hang out with other anime fans, enjoy a drink, talk about favorite shows, and create something to take home. No artistic experience is needed. Character outlines are provided on canvas, so all you have to do is paint.
Fans can choose from characters inspired by popular series including One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy × Family, Solo Leveling, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Blue Lock, Kaiju No. 8, Dandadan, and more.
Regular canvas tickets include an 11×14 canvas, character outline, art supplies, and a drink ticket. Kids can choose an 8×10 canvas with the same basic setup, while blank canvases are available for anyone who wants to create their own character.
Want to paint a specific character? A character request can be added to your ticket to guarantee your favorite character will be waiting for you. Those who prefer to draw their own design can choose a blank canvas instead.
Cosplay is also encouraged, giving attendees a chance to show off their favorite characters while spending the evening with fellow anime fans. There will also be plenty of opportunities to talk about favorite series, swap recommendations, and enjoy the anime community.
Anime Paint & Sip takes place at West Orange Comics & Video Games, 1575 Maguire Rd #108, Ocoee, Florida, on Friday, August 28, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Tickets range from $20 to $40.
